Current Collection Day and Time:
Weekly Collection is on WEDNESDAY.
· Regular Solid Waste is collected starting at 6am until completion at approximately noon.
· Yard Waste is collected any time between 10am and 4pm
· Recyclables are collected between 6am and 4pm
· Bulk items are collected with regular solid waste collections but require prior notification from homeowner to current provider.
· An annual holiday schedule must be posted and provided to residents at least 60 days prior to the new year. It is understood that collection day could be subject to change on a holiday week, but notification of changes should be provided to both City Hall and residents.
Current Collection Containers:
· ONE (1) 96-gallon solid waste container with wheels and lid is provided to each homeowner.
· Additional containers can be requested by homeowners and are billed separately to the homeowner.
· Currently there is no specified yard waste container, however yard waste paper bags must be utilized when not using a large container. No plastic bags are acceptable for yard waste as per Louisville Metro Ordinance.
· Recyclable item containers are provided to individual homeowners that request this service and vary in sizes and types depending upon the needs of the homeowner. They can be bins or a large recyclable container. Recycling costs are billed to individual homeowners.
· Bulk branches and limbs must be bundled weighing no more than 50 pounds and cannot be in lengths greater than 4 feet.
· No more than twelve (12) yard waste paper bags will be collected on each day of service.
Collection at City Hall:
· One Solid Waste Container – 3-yard capacity
· One Yard Waste Container – 3-yard capacity
· One Recycling Container - 3-yard capacity
· All containers should provide lock capabilities.

BILLING:
· Itemized billing for monthly single container collections should be sent to the City of Lynnview for payment.
· Recyclable collections will be billed to individual homeowners/residents.
· Additional container fees and services will be billed to individual homeowners/residents.
· Dumpster fees will be billed monthly to the City of Lynnview.

Insurance Coverage Requirements:
· Provider must maintain the following insurance coverages:
o Workers Compensation
o Commercial General Liability – Bodily Injury/Property Damage.
o Commercial Auto Liability – Bodily Injury/Property Damage
o Excess/Umbrella Liability

TERM OF CONTRACT
· Provider should provide both a 3-year contract bid and a 5-year contract bid
o A three-year contract is mandatory.
o A five-year contract is optional but highly recommended.
o All 3-year contracts will be evaluated equally. However, the 5-year contract will be considered as an additional category for scoring if submitted.Start writing your blog post here...
