Ordinance No. 4: SANITATION USER FEE

SECTION 1:

A Sanitation User Fee for the City of Lynnview is hereby levied and fixed for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, at a rate of One-Hundred and 00 /100 Dollars (100.00) per property within said City.

SECTION 2:

Said user fee shall not be assessed on the second parcel of any property within said City provided the parcel addresses are the same.

SECTION 3:

Said user fee shall be due and payable to the office of the City Clerk/ Tax Collector in the same manner as Ad Valorem Taxes levied by the City.

SECTION 4:

Said fee shall be an annual fee, to be effective for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, the proceeds of which shall be used exclusively to defray the costs of garbage collection not already covered by the Special Ad Valorem Tax levied to defray garbage collection costs. This fee shall be accounted for in a separate account with the special ad valorem tax revenues.

SECTION 5:

Said fee shall be in addition to any other taxes or fees levied by the City of Lynnview.

SECTION 6:

This Ordinance shall be published according to law.

SECTION 7:

This ordinance shall take effect upon publication.

SECTION 8:

Any ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance or any part of this Ordinance is hereby repealed.

SECTION 9:

Should any section, clause, line, paragraph, or part of this Ordinance be held unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the same shall not affect the remainder of this Ordinance.
